Cash recharge for Fastag

Government will roll out the option to recharge Fastag with Cash to accelerate its adaption.

Penetration of electronic toll collection has been stagnating after a steep rise in toll collection using Fastags since Dec 15

Around 40 to 45% traffic is being registered in hybrid lanes at toll plazas for both cash & electronic toll collection.

Currently, country wide toll collection using Fastags is around 55 to 60% as per the sources.
